Coffee has more impact on our lives than we know. How can something so good be so good for you? Every study I find shows it helps cognition, circulatory issues, digestive benefits, so much more!
3-5 cups a day? All good!
Of course I will ignore any study that doesn’t support my already firmly held beliefs.
Coffee is not just a beverage. It’s an event. You go out for coffee. You get together for coffee. It’s almost a verb. Let’s coffee, shall we? You don’t meet for Cokes.
I have never gone a day without coffee since April 1st, 1977. And I ain’t foolin’.
Once in 1986 I made it until about noon. I found myself huddled in a corner in the fetal position, shivering in a cold sweat, wondering what had gone wrong in my life.
That day I made a vow. Never again.
So as the 50th anniversary of the coffee streak approaches, ask yourself. “Sure, you love coffee. But has it ever loved you back?”
Absolutely.
