Be Careful

Recent days it’s been the refrain of many. With the recent winter weather, I don’t know how many times someone has said to me, “Be careful.” We had some pretty hazardous conditions! So it became almost automatic!

It’s a good thing. It’s nice. It’s sound counsel. When somebody says “be careful”, you might think twice before you rush that yellow light, or are tempted to glance at your phone.

Perhaps we might adopt a “Be Careful” attitude permanently? Shouldn’t we always be careful? You never know when a car will stop quickly in front of you, or there’s an object in the road.

Or maybe a donkey darts out in front of you late at night and totals your Prius?

Oh what. That’s just me.

All to say, it’s been nice hearing everyone care for each other and admonish friends and loved ones to “Be careful.”

Or as the Traveling Wilburys said…

“Handle with Care”
