Salt. Light.

Jesus prayed for his disciples. The disciples showed Jesus’ character to the world, thereby glorifying God. (Be like the disciples.)

But know this: If you live for Jesus, the world will see you as a living accusation to its immorality, and they’ll hate you.

Perhaps you’ve avoided much of the disdain due to proximity. Or maybe you’re not living for Jesus as much as you thought you were?

Admit sin, invite Him in, and be “saved.” Believe and obey God’s word, and be “sanctified.” Applying His word purifies your soul!

Jesus didn’t pray for God to take us out of the fallen world, He prayed for God to use us IN it.

The Bible calls this the “full measure of joy.” I’m counting on that!

His spirit helps us be loving and creative in how we share our faith. We are God-sent!

Salt and light!
