Nobody likes traffic. The only thing I like about it is complaining about it. But when I do, I’m complaining about myself, because I’m part of the problem!
So I just won’t drive.
Okay, here’s a more realistic life hack that has made me a happy man. Hold on to your toupee:
Your mileage may vary, but the average commute is 52 minutes round trip. By that standard, simply driving the speed limit will cost you about 54 seconds.
Can you spare it?
Is it worth giving up the maneuvering, the rush, the frustration with other drivers? Leave a couple minutes early and save the headaches for later. Your blood pressure will thank you.
Give yourself a break. Stay in the right lane. Drive the speed limit. Unless you like road stress. Hey. Who am I to say? You be you.
But as for me? I vote relax. When I’m runnin’ down the road, I gonna loosen my load.
