We’ve heard the saying. Be “in the moment.” But What does it mean? We’re all in it. But do we soak in it? Do I appreciate what God has given me? Right now?
The verse says, “This is the day the Lord has made. Let us rejoice and be glad in it.” We know it well. Easy to gloss over it and miss the impact.
But do we rejoice in the moment? This minute. While the TV is on and you’re at your lap top. While the weather is hot and the cat made a mess.
Rejoice.
While your car needs work, your kid is acting weird, and your hair has a funny hump.
Be glad in it.
We’re not guaranteed tomorrow.
