When you mix faith with personalities and relationships, it’s fascinating.
I gave my heart to Jesus a long time ago at work in a huge factory, and people heard about it. Other believers were excited, and I was grateful for their care and attention.
I was invited to Methodist churches, Baptist churches, Pentecostal churches, and Catholic churches. It became the buzz! I learned the body of Christ doesn’t all believe the same way. In fact, there are some giant differences!
But I was brand new! I didn’t know what was going on. On top of that, I’m a pleaser. I didn’t want to disappoint anybody.
So when asked which church I would attend, I started saying Meth-o-Bap-ta-Cath-o-Costal.
