Jesus agonized in the garden. He cried out to God from his heart. He knew he had to go through the terrible crucifixion, and he was full of sorrow, but he was being honest with his father.
His dread was real. But he prayed for strength for both himself and the disciples.
“Not my will, but yours be done.”
Whatever you’re dreading, talk transparently to God. Ask him to give you strength to do his will and wisdom to see his purpose. He’s faithful to be there and walk you through it.
