When Jesus was crucified, most of the disciples fled. Joseph of Arimathea, a Jewish council member, and secret disciple of Jesus, asked for Jesus’ body so he could give him a proper burial.
Joseph took great risks to show concern for Jesus’ body.
The women who followed Jesus from Galilee went to the tomb to bring spices and perfumes.
Women in those days were extremely limited in what they could do.
In both examples, these believers didn’t focus on their obstacles.
They did what they could.
