The Truth – Depending on Who You Ask

We love to talk about the sins we used to commit, but no longer do. But current sins? “That’s nobody’s business.”

We love to talk about the sins others commit that we don’t. “It’s not gossip if it’s the truth.”

“Sure, I sin, but I’d rather not be specific.” And “At least I’m not as bad as ___.” (insert name here)

We want to establish our own truth. Too bad if it doesn’t align with others’. So who’s right?

That’s why we need the Bible—unequivocal, unbiased, hard truth.

Sometimes it hurts.

“The truth is always painful, but your arguments prove nothing.” Job 6:25
