The Man Who Did Everything

He was there for his family and there for is friends. He was there for his job and wondered where it all ends.

His schedule was full and his down time was slim. We all knew if we asked he would do anything.

He liked being useful. He liked being used. He started to wonder if he was being abused.

His wife asked him what made him carry on so. Turns out he never told anyone “no.”

Was it because he was generous or because he we kind? Or was it because he was slowly losing his mind?

No, the reason he gave away every minute he had, was because he didn’t want to make anyone mad.

He had to please others ahead of himself, to the point it began affecting his health.

He asked his pastor and his counselor too, who both said, “You know exactly what to do.”

Go to your closet for a good part of the day, and simple read your bible and diligently pray.

It sounds so simple and yet so profound. God’s perspective is deep and his wisdom is sound.

He learned his motivation wasn’t to help. His incentive was simply a love of himself.

To put others first means being your best. You can’t do that if you’re getting no rest.

So he asked God for direction and a place he should start. He was led to re-ask God into his heart.

Now he’s more able to let his light his light shine…

By simply making better use of his time.
