Everything’s gone up, but hasn’t it always been that way? Prices rise, seldom drop. We’ve all heard or told stories of “Back in the Day.”
Like I can remember when gas was 35 cents. My grandpa said when he was young, a movie was a nickel!
But what if we go back even farther? How low could it go? Pennies? Was everything free?
In the 1800s, my great-great grandpa: “Why, back in my day they paid ME to buy things. Nowadays? NUTHIN’. They just give it to you!”
Disgraceful!
