Just like a club sandwich requires all the ingredients to be complete, your life needs challenges along with the favor to be whole. So even when your situation seems dire, there’s reason to celebrate.
Remember. Nobody gets off scot-free. All our lives are mixtures of pain and blessing. James says, “Consider it all joy when you face hardships.”
That’s okay when you forget a password, but not when you’re rejected by family. Did we actually think everything was going to be easy? Of course not. So why are we surprised when it isn’t?
Joy and sadness coexist. Life requires all kinds of experiences! Not just pleasant ones. We celebrate the good times, and we learn through the bad.
