Ask yourself, why is this an issue? What makes you react this way? Is it a legitimate response? Perhaps.
Or is it insecurity? Anger? Fear? Or do you somehow subconsciously strive for some perfect world where everything fits your needs?
Wow. Tall order. Gonna have to wait for Heaven for that one.
Meantime, have some compassion on yourself, and ask God to shift your attention. Maybe on a task. Or text a friend. How about a nap?
The situation may not change. And you may have to repeat the process all over again tomorrow. But for today? As for the pain?
Just watch. It’ll pass.
