People can be cruel. Even you and me! (Me?)
Most of us don’t mean to be. We justify ourselves. My “reasonable” actions could be devastating to you, and vice versa.
You’re not our own. You were bought! So whatever somebody says or thinks is microscopic compared to your standing in God’s eyes.
Get outside yourself. It’s not you they’re attacking. They don’t even know they’re attacking! They’re thinking about themselves. (Bless their hearts.)
Ask God to be your shield. He’ll do it!
