Maybe it’s awkward. Maybe it doesn’t seem like the right time or place. Maybe you don’t even like this person!
Love them anyway.
Be genuine. It’s hard to be generous to a jerk, so think of him as God thinks of him. He made that person in His image. That alone is enough to love.
Debating issues or doctrine changes nobody’s mind. But putting others first draws attention. A rare quality!
So even if you aren’t feeling it, love them anyway.
It’s how they’ll know you’re a Jesus follower.
