Cheer up. At Least You’re Not Juan Williams.

Ever feel like life is an uphill climb? Like everybody’s against you? Like you’re all alone?

Imagine being Juan Williams.

Juan is the lone liberal on a panel of conservatives on the Fox News program The Five. The format is simple. One person opens the conversation about a current issue. They go around the table and everyone weighs in, four with similar views.

Then Juan.

When it’s Juan’s turn, he goes the other way, and they swarm him like ants on a grape.

He knows it’s coming. I don’t even know if he believes what he says. Sometimes I think he’s making stuff up just to be difficult. But it’s his job to stir things up. He has to go against the grain. Every day he goes to work knowing everybody’s going to yell at him!

Ever feel like Juan?

You don’t have to. I don’t know if Juan is a believer. But if you’re outnumbered, knowing God means it doesn’t matter what others say. He loves you unconditionally. You can make it through the segment, go to commercial, and take a knee until the next round.

And come back fighting.
